Adidas unleashes creativity in the fitness world with new campaign

Time and again, the paragons in the industry remind us how they established themselves at the first place, by coming up with innovative and creative strategies that are timeless. Adidas did it again with their most recent campaign – “Unleash your Creativity”. It focuses on unleashing your inner creativity to push yourself a bit harder mentally to make a difference physically. Their campaign reads – ‘Hard work only gets you so far. To make a real difference, you need something more powerful. Your creativity. Unleash it and see how far you can go.

In a series of videos influential female figures such as Karlie Kloss, Ally Love, Candace Parker, Ruqsana Begum, and many more inspirational women show how they go beyond the rule book and use creativity to explore the fitness world in their own unique ways. For supermodel Karlie Kloss creativity is a mindset that helps people make a difference in the world, for kickboxer Ruqsana Begum Creativity is what helped her make the world see her differently, for social media influencer Hannah Brofman creativity is exploring and telling untold stories – there are plenty of such inspiring stories that can be found in Adida’s new campaign.

Instead of directly advertising their athletic apparel line, they surreptitiously created an inspiring, motivating, creative and empowering story around it. So now when people think of the brand, they are consumed by emotion rather than the product itself; which will work in favor of the brand as it will be long lasting, memorable, more effective and impactful. Over the past few years’ sportswear brands have stepped up their marketing to women through campaigns built around empowerment and Adidas’ championing of creativity and defying convention has been a focal point of the brand’s marketing for some time now.

Creativity is way more than just idea generation. It’s how to think around a problem. It’s how to solve it in multiple ways and it is coming up with the best solution — one that is simple and true and Adidas did just that.
